Living Wage
Lynne Frith, Parish Superintendent, says:
We took this step as a visible expression to our belief that all workers deserve a living wage. It is consistent with both the Christian gospel tradition and our Methodist heritage to ensure that our internal life as a community of faith meets at least the same standards we advocate for in our community and our country. As well, we stand in solidarity with those businesses, community organisations, unions, and local government bodies who are Living Wage employers.
We hope that our action will encourage other faith communities and faith-based organisations to also become Living Wage employers.
